General information

Lessons are available for all ages from the complete beginner through to advanced.

  I have a patient and relaxed teaching style with lessons tailored to suit each individual.

I encourage students to learn from both standard notation and tablature but realise that many players prefer to read from tablature only, the choice is entirely yours.

 

First lessons for Banjo, Guitar and Ukulele usually begin with the strumming of easy chords and simple rhythms. The teaching approach for Lutes, Baroque Guitar and Classical Guitar along with the other instruments will be somewhat different.

 

Everyone is welcome to have a trial lesson prior to booking for a term of lessons.
